SUMMARY:St Abbs
DESCRIPTION:Hi\, \nCall for interest for St Abbs on 11-14 Oct (12-13 diving) \nSt Abbs diving is one of my favourites – marine nature park with lot of reefs spongie / soft corals but also all the creepers and enigmatic Wolf fish …there is a chance to do night dive if serious interest – done it and it can be fantastic. Good non fish live – seals\, sea birds hunting etc … \nI will keep the trip open for OD although for many of the dives – SD+ divers can find their depth. \nVillage it self used to be lovely and beautifully calm and picturesque fishing village – some “£&7£&&” decided to use it in one of the Avangers movie as New Asgard … so it’s a bit contaminated by tourists now – still fantastic sceneries – and you cab visit museum with marvel stuff now 😉 \nLogistics \n– considering longer (~7 hours) drive – propose a long weekend – drive up on Friday diving on Saturday / Sunday\, perhaps Monday and drive back on Monday. \nNote – there is a possibility to add 1-2 days in Farnes to play with seals on way up or back  – happy to give advise if interest & will to organise by someone \n– accommodation in bunk house next to skippers house – nice and easy\, lunches possible in local (and great) coffee\, breakfasts self catering – dinner – mix of walks to pub in next village or self cater (last time Mark over delivered on this with Bolognese and Putney version of crepes Susette…) \n– air fills  and boat pretty much on site (skippers house is in the harbour…) \n– kit – 2x cyls\, drysuit advisable\, full kit with dsmb etc … \n– costs – see attached word doc – optimaly we fill bunk house (10) in which case accom ~£90 (£575 full house for weekend (Fri-Sun) + £30 pp for Sunday night) more if less ppl\, diving £60 per day / two dives; night / further sites\, air fills\, food\, travel etc extra. \nAt moment there are spaces in Oct; proposed weekend are neaps\, but I would need to do booking and pay deposit soon so let me know by next  Sunday –  If  you are interested and ready to pay deposit (say ~£75) – reminder paying deposit secure your space although you are responsible for noncancelable  part of costs  / or finding replacement. \nIf you are seriously interested but need more time let me know as well although we need at least ~8 to get this trip going. \nOn planing night we had Rob\, Alex\, Henry\, Grace\, Liam\, Douglas\, Paul and Byron interested so good chances we go ahead but also enough spaces available. \nAny questions let me know. \nMichal
