Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring with me?
Bring your swimming costume, some change to buy a locker token (refundable), a T-shirt which you don’t mind getting wet, a towel to dry yourself afterwards, and £15. You may also want to bring showel gel and shampoo.
I have a medical condition. Can I still do a try dive?
You should seek expert medical advice first if you have any of the following:
  • diabetes
  • heart condition
  • asthma
  • epilepsy
  • high blood pressure
  • black outs
  • severe back problem

Also you should not do a try dive if you have had a cold recently. If you are a bit blocked up please rearrange your try dive for a later date.

Where do try dives take place?
At Putney Leisure Centre.
Can I just turn up?
No.

There are normally people training in the diving pit in the pool at Putney Leisure Centre every Tuesday between 7.30 and 8.30 pm and you are welcome to turn up to meet us and find out more.

But you will need to arrange a try dive in advance so that we can make sure we have the gear and an instructor ready.

How do I arrange a try dive?
Send us an e-mail with your contact details.

Or come along to the Jolly Gardeners pub one Tuesday evening from 9.00 pm onwards.

Who do I make the cheque payable to?
